From the Horses Point of View
I am MacBeth, a chestnut quarter horse gelding. I trust my rider, Emma. She rides me almost every day. Emma has ridden me for one and a half years. I live with three other horses. Emma has ridden me in three shows. She is very kind to me. She gives me treats and she loves me. I’m with Emma most of the time. I am Emma’s Pony Club horse. Together we make a great pair.
Where Emma rides me
Emma rides me on trails and in the ring. On trails the work is different than in the ring. There are two grass lands. The first grass land is smaller than the second one we ride in. I really would like to gallop in all the meadows but Emma doesn’t let me.
From My Point of View
MacBeth, my horse is a beautiful chestnut, quarter horse gelding. I think he is the best horse ever. I’ve had MacBeth for two years. We adopted him from a horse rescue. He is seventeen. I ride Dressage with him and he is really good at it. I’ve ridden MacBeth in five Dressage tests. We make a perfect pair. MacBeth deserves the best care I can give him.
Where I Ride
I ride MacBeth through the woods. After a little while in the woods we come out to a grass land. Sometimes we canter and sometime we trot. MacBeth has to listen and wait for my direction. I ride with one other horse and sometimes two other horses. I ride on the road a little bit, and MacBeth is very good with traffic. I also ride in the riding ring. I don’t ride that much in the ring in the winter, but when there is just the right amount of snow on the ground we like to ride patterns in the fresh snow. I love MacBeth.
