In addition to the original Blue Seal® Llama and Alpaca Pellets, Blue Seal offers five Dr. Norm Evans Products. Dr. Norm Evans, DVM, has been involved in extensive Camelid research involving nutrition and health issues.
Dr. Evans’, LAMA Wellness Service started camelid practice in 1986. He has a mobile practice that involves clients in 40 plus states, Canada, Japan and the UK. Dr. Evans work mostly involves nutritional and reproductive problems. Since 1998 he has experimented with the effect of different nutrients and levels of nutrients on alpaca fiber.
Blue Seal Llama - Alpaca Pellets
Formulated for llamas and alpacas in all life stages including reproduction,
growth, work and maintenance. The pellets are cut short in length
(1/4" to 3/8") to reduce risk of choking. The highly palatable
alfalfa formula is supplemented with Vitamin E and selenium and organic
trace minerals for good health. Llama
and Alpaca Pellets are made with a consistent, fixed formula using
only the highest quality ingredients. Available in a 50-lb bag.
Evans Llama Texture
Quality blend of pellets, crimped oats, flaked corn, and extruded
nuggets lightly wrapped in molasses. Provides a balance of protein,
energy and fiber to mature Llamas with excellent acceptance and palatability.

Evans Camelid S/G/L
Quality blend of pellets, crimped oats, flaked corn, and extruded
nuggets lightly wrapped in molasses and vegetable oil. Designed to
meet the high demands of cria growth and female gestation and lactation.
Excellent nutrition for both Alpacas and Llamas. Available in a 50-lb

Evans Alpaca Maintenance
Quality blend of pellets, crimped oats, flaked corn, and extruded
nuggets lightly wrapped in molasses and vegetable oil. Provides a
balance of protein energy and fiber to mature Alpacas with excellent
