To Our Concerned Customers:

This is our response to your requests for information regarding the safety of the peanut butter we use to manufacture our Blue Seal Peanut Butter Flavor biscuits. Our supplier confirms they are not involved in the recall that is currently being reported on the news.

It is also important to note that the process we use to manufacture our biscuits provides additional safety for this product. In the baking process, the biscuits are cooked at a temperature of 500° F for approximately 10 minutes. Dr. Rompala, our Vice President of Nutrition, reports that salmonella bacteria cannot survive a temperature greater than approximately 145° F.
